VMOS Down Not Compatible With Pokemon GO (06-03-2020)
VMOS Down After Security Update (06-03-2020)
Today VMOS down, every time we will log in Pokemon GO will get This device, os or software is not compatible with Pokemon GO. Actually there are already indications that Niantic is updating their server. 2 days before today all GPS Joystick applications (applications that use the free Google MAP service) cannot load maps and perform location searches.
With the VMOS Down some users complain that they cannot search for locations on the GPS Joystick application they are using. But that has not been a serious problem because they can still do spoofing by pasting the coordinates of the google map. But after today’s update, all users complain that they can’t play Pokemon GO again on VMOS because they can’t log in their accounts.
However, after today’s update, all users complained that they couldn’t play Pokemon GO again on VMOS because they couldn’t log in to their accounts. When they check SafetyNet using SafetyNet Check, SafetyNet Helper, SafetyNet Test the results are the same as Basic Integrity and CTS Profile Match will always be FALSE or FAILED.
Even though we have used VFIN and performed VFIN Routines correctly when we check the SafetyNet status with the SafetyNet checker the results remain unchanged. The point is that VFIN can no longer bypass SafetyNet again with the latest security patches from Google and Niantic.
What applications are affected by this update?
All applications related to Pokemon GO on VMOS are affected. What is the impact on each application?
- VFIN: VFIN 1.0.2 can no longer bypass SafetyNet, Maybe in the future VFIN 1.0.3 will be able to bypass again. We can only wait for the VFIN update and hope that VFIN devs can update it as soon as possible. Even though we have used VFIN and performed VFIN Routines correctly when we check the SafetyNet status with the SafetyNet checker the results remain unchanged. The point is that VFIN can no longer bypass SafetyNet again with the latest security patches from Google and Niantic.
- GPS Spoofing APP: Not only Fake GPS Location by appninjas was affected by this update. Almost all fake GPS applications that use Google Maps can no longer use Google Map Services. This happened from a few days ago before this update was released.
- SafetyNet Checker: SafetyNet Checker is also affected by this update, although not all SafetyNet checker apps. Some similar apps get the Response Validation fail error message.
- iSpoofer: Even iSpoofer also affected from some time ago.
How to fix This device os or software is not compatible with Pokemon GO on VMOS after this update
Unfortunately, for now, there is still no solution for this case, we can only wait for VMOS dev to analyze the latest security patch from Niantic, and find a solution for this.
Usually, if we encounter the message This device os or software is not compatible with Pokemon GO it means that security Pokemon GO detects that our device is in a ROOT state. In VMOS if this happens we usually only need to disable ROOT and delete the XBIN folder. But after this security update, this trick no longer works.
What applications are still in trouble since VMOS down?
According to some Spoofers, for now, only Magisk can get Spoofing Pokemon GO. They say they can still spoofing smoothly and without obstacles. But to be able to use Magisk we need an Android smartphone that has been ROOT-ed.
Conclusions
According to our analysis, the problem is in VFIN 1.0.2 which is no longer able to bypass SafetyNet. So what we can do only hope that VFIN devs respond immediately and find the latest SafetyNet bypass solution. And immediately release VFIN 1.0.3.
