What processes does VFIN do on VMOS

VFIN is basically a tool to bypass SafetyNet validation. When we will log in to Pokemon GO, the Pokemon GO client will validate our device. Does our Device pass the SafetyNet test or not. That is indicated by the results of Basic Integrity on the SafetyNet checking response.

By default, the VMOS environment will produce FALSE or Failed Basic Integrity. This is because the VMOS ROM is a Custom ROM. By doing VFIN Routines, the results of Basic Integrity will become TRUE or SUCCES. Then what does VFIN actually do?

When we tap the KlLL Process VFIN button, it will look for the process ID from com.android.gms.unstable. After finding the Process ID from com.android.gms.unstable, VFIN will force the process to stop. It takes several times to do this until the message “Please Input PID”.

After the com.android.gms.unstable process has stopped, the new user can tap the BYPASS POKEMON GO button. When the user presses this button VFIN will enter a special script that will be injected into the SafetyNet checking process. At this time we still don’t know what the script is and what files are inserted with the script.

Are there any new features in the VFIN 1.0.3 update

Unfortunately, there are no new features on this latest VFIN. Just like the previous version, there are only 3 main buttons with the exact same function. Hopefully, the next version can be added with the floating windows feature to make it easier for us to do VFIN Routines without the need to switch applications.

Conclusions

This VFIN update is mandatory. We have to update VFIN to version 1.0.3 because the previous version can’t work anymore. To do a manual update, you can follow the method mentioned above.  If you want an easier way you can follow VMOS Fully Loaded with VFIN 1.0.3
